Loss Control Supervisor supervises safety programs and performs accident investigations regarding complicated or special accounts; reports hazards found. Prevents injury by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards with insured accounts of high complexity and exposure. Being a Loss Control Supervisor recommends mitigation solutions. Supports and ensures qualified loss control service to agents and insured clients within an assigned territory. Additionally, Loss Control Supervisor promotes awareness and conducts safe work environment training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Loss Control Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.
