Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee our shipping, receiving, and distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in inventory control and transportation management systems. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Duties:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
- Oversee the shipping and receiving process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods
- Manage inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
- Analyze data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate transportation and distribution activities
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Implement transportation management systems to track shipments, manage routes, and reduce costs
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution center operations
- Proficiency in SQL or other data analysis tools for analyzing large datasets
- Experience in inventory control and category management
- Ability to analyze profit loss statements and financial data related to logistics operations
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) for optimizing routes and reducing costs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
