Full-time Logistics Assistant

Paradise Valley Estates (PVE) is a 76 acre, premier life plan community located in the foothills of Napa Valley in Fairfield, California. Working under the supervision of the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Assistant will assist with the administrative responsibilities of the Logistics departments. This will include but will not be limited to maintaining records for and processing transportation slips, filing, copying and other office duties as assigned. As a member of the Logistics Team, the Logistics Assistant will contribute to a positive, uplifting atmosphere with fellow employees and on the PVE campus.

Job Responsibilities and Competencies:

• Respectfully cooperates with various supervisors by asking questions in order to understand assignments, reports problems or issues at an early stage, meets assigned deadlines.

• Processes and coordinates resident transportation requests.

• Is available to produce the independent living activity calendar as needed for distribution to the people served.

• Assumes the responsibilities of the Logistics Manager during scheduled and unexpected absences, including but not limited to daily transportation dispatching, printing driver schedules and entering Worxhub requests, with the direction and support of the Logistics Manager.

• Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Self-motivated individual with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong time management and problem solving skills.

• Ability to maintain poise and professional appearance

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deal with frequent interruptions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Prior experience preferred but not required.
