The Training Manager will be an integral part of the Beemac Logistics team. This role will work to map out current client opportunities and identify opportunities for further account penetration and growth, while simultaneously training new sales hires on this process. They will be expected to lead the customer maintenance and organic growth of existing clients as well as be at the frontlines of leading training sessions each month. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing freight broker role.
Responsibilities:
· Working with operations to ensure customers shipments are being picked up and delivered within agreed timeframes
· Mapping current and future business development and growth opportunities as well as prospect contacts in the CRM
· Responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly goals and enforcing set company KPI's on a daily and weekly basis
· Conducting client-facing presentations and reports to support the customer engagement process.
· Working with management to improve the sales training process
· Leading training sessions regarding prospecting and lead generation, starting and managing customer relationships, overcoming objections, etc. on a monthly schedule
· Remotely teaching new employees nationally and internationally
· Prepare educational material such as tutorials, videos, and presentations
· Actively assist in the growth and development of Beemac University
· Keep training programs vibrant and entertaining in order to engage employees and trainees
· Provide online and conference call training session for offsite employees
Position Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing transportation needs of shippers
· Previous training/coaching experience within the transportation logistics industry preferred
· Fundamental understanding of carrier procurement practices and operational load movement processes
· Ability to simultaneously interface with all levels of internal and external teams while communicating effectively with the customer
· Ability to draw essential information out of customers to grow and develop business
· Extremely articulate in both written and oral formats. Must be a compelling public speaker
· Must have the ability to engage trainees in discussions during educational sessions
Required technical skills include:
