Logistics Manager manages all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Implements an overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Logistics Manager oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Manager ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Logistics Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. DRIVER REQUIRMENTS

DRIVER JOB DESCRIPTION
· Driver’s shift will start at the time your BC/AO stipulates, most generally 7:30 AM.
· Driver must perform a vehicle Pre-Trip inspection before the vehicle can legally be used for the day.
· The employee needs to report any defects that he/she finds wrong with that vehicle immediately.
· Employees are responsible for their load that day and need to sort through their truck to make any adjustments as needed.
· Before leaving the terminal, employees need to log into their assigned scanner. (This is for DOT purposes)
· Employees are responsible for delivering all the packages in their trucks in a safeand timely manner.
· Employees are responsible for making sure their pickups are picked up in a safeand timely manner.
· When returning to the terminal at the end of the day, Drivers must complete a Post trip inspection of the vehicle and report any defects to their manager/BC immediately.
· Employees are to use the proper coding for all packages that come back to the terminal and must use the DATE, TIME, TRUCK #, and CODE method on all packages next to the barcode.
· Employees must keep a clean truck and are encouraged to sweep their trucks at the end of every shift.
· When all tasks are completed, sign out of your scanner completely and properly by going through all the assigned steps.
· ALL employees are REQUIRED to follow all Local, State, and Federal laws. Along with COMPLYING with the employer’s safety protocol within their business.
