Responsibilities and Duties:

• Have thorough understanding of carriers and equipment portfolio
• Prioritize and coordinate shipments for clients
• Oversee the arrangement of pick-up and delivery of loads to ensure on-time delivery
• Resolve any freight delivery issues
• High volume of email and phone communication with customers, carriers, management, and team members
• Managing order entry process in 3rd party platforms
• Coordinate with team members on status of shipments
• Document and retain relevant customer and carrier information

Management:

• Lead and provide guidance to a team of Account Managers for Managed Services
• Assume special projects as assigned by a Logistics Director
• Provide reporting as requested by the customer
• Conduct ongoing 1on1 conversations with team members
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year customer service experience
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Desire to learn and positive attitude
• Quality-driven and results-oriented
• Ability to build business relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Regular attendance
• Management experience preferred, not required

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
