We are looking for our newest member of the Finance Team: Director of Treasury

To join one of the fastest growing Global providers in the Assesses the products, services, technologies, and systems that are available and appropriate for treasury departments. Designs and implements cash management services. Oversees cash management initiatives, bank relationships, day-to-day treasury operations, establishes short-term borrowing needs and recommends short-term investing initiatives. Manages working capital and credit management. Leads project financing (equipment leasing) and working capital (factoring / intercompany) initiatives. We need an individual with at least 5 years of leadership experience in finance, financial modeling and accounting for a leading supply chain or logistics organization. This incumbent will report to our VP Finance & Treasury.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Applies financial perspective and analysis for business decisions.
• Develops and supervises management of departmental policies and procedures.
• Oversees all cash management functions.
• Maintains and cultivates banking relationships.
• Recommends items for strategic planning.
• Identifies and recommends project financing options.
• Develops cash forecasting methods.
• Recommends alternative financing strategies.
• Oversees issuing letters of credit.
• Manages performance bonds and guarantees.
• Oversees international bank relationships.
• Investment analysis on organization's capital expenditures (Capex)
• Projects future Capex needs and timing.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance is required.
• MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance is preferred.
• CTP certification a plus.

• Experience with cash accounting

• IFRS knowledge is needed.
