The Logistics Network Engineering Director is responsible for strategy ownership, continuity, and data quality of Honeywell’s Logistics and Trade Operations global data transfers, software, and structures.   Our teams have built a low-latency logistics intelligence data structure linking  sources across sourcing, planning,  manufacturing, operations, payments, and our FP&A support into an organic software and data science sandbox.  This Logistics digital cornerstone enables Honeywell’s four Strategic Business Groups and 35 business enterprise teams to mitigate or react to any global disruption, deliver productivity,  automate our processes, and integrate microservices.   This role works in concert  with  Honeywell’s Logistic partners, Operations, Digital Productivity, Logistics Sourcing,  Planning, Logistics FP&A, ISC Analytics Software Team, and Honeywell’s IT to evolve and optimize our intersection of bits and atoms.   The leader is  accountable for immediate progress on objectives and the balanced multi-year strategy execution.   The role reports to the VP & CPO of Global ISC Logistics, is based at Honeywell’s new Headquarters in Charlotte NC and we currently require a  3 hybrid office schedule.  Travel should be expected  <15% of workdays to Honeywell site operations and partner locations internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead our global logistics data connectivity, quality and software strategy to deliver immediate value to Honeywell businesses and the future evolution for subsequent productivity, process capability, and service quality excellence
• Develop and implement data transfer protocols, standards, and best practices for internal and external data connections
• Quickly resolve issues and deliver rapid evolution of data sources to match with the business challenges and potential
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the logistics network
• Provide technical guidance and support for data collection, connectivity, integration, and analysis
• Design and optimize software and tools to enable fast and reliable data access and visualization, data science, and process automation back to core systems across multiple ERP’s
• Work with core ISC Logistics teams and Honeywell IT to determine make/buy Logistics software strategy
• Establish and maintain common master data structure standards and governance
• Create and execute the 3-year  logistics digital strategy and roadmap
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and solutions to enhance the logistics digital capabilities and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and partners to align on the logistics digital vision and goals
• Convert vision and strategy into an approved and funded execution roadmap and own accountability to our commitments
• Provide cost efficiencies and migration timeline for M&A due diligence and own integration delivery to plan
