About This Position
Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking qualified applicants for a Logistics Analyst position in support of Marine Corps Logistics Command requirements onboard the Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, HI.
An essential component of information workflow, this Logistics Analyst position fills an important administrative role in Marine Force Storage Command’s (MFSC) support to the Material Management Operations Group (M2OG). These efforts are a vital part of the US Marine Corps Logistics Command’s (MARCORLOGCOM) materiel readiness and sustainment mission.
Duties:
- Provides customer liaison support to include but not limited to Equipment Specialists, Logistics Management Specialists, Program Representatives, and team members
- Coordinates tasking requirements with the PM upon receipt from the customer
- Supports Project Lead requirements in preparation and presentation of program briefings that outline capabilities, accomplishments and additional opportunities
- Prepares metrics and performance briefings utilizing input received from other sites
- Coordinates, prepares, and manages workflow of special projects as may be tasked by the customer
- Validates project information and notifies Government Analyst that validation is complete and documents are ready for posting
- Manages Project Status file and NSNs Pending Receipt file to ensure data has been updated accurately
- Communicates Project Status issues throughout the program
- Notifies customer when the Project Information is not accurately portrayed
- Assists Project Lead / Alternate with preparation of metrics and performance briefings based on input received from other sites
- Reconciles Tailored Listings against CATALYST, FEDLOG and GCSS-MC to validate cataloging information and opportunity to receipt for material
- Generates Trouble Tickets for any differences/discrepancies discovered during the review process
- Receives Trouble Ticket notices from locations via the SharePoint Site
- Monitors Due-in Documents and Track N Trace of shipments
- Initiates actions with respective LOGCOM and/or MCSC offices
- Tracks and manages issues through resolution
- Maintains chronological record of resolution efforts
- Updates the SharePoint site, as required
- Publishes weekly Trouble Ticket Status to SharePoint and provides status report to the lead
- Provides Trouble Ticket reports to the Project Lead/Project Lead Alternate and Government customer
- Coordinates Modifications or Cancellation Couriers when required
- Notifies Customer of Project discrepancies regarding the description of Incremental shipments
- Ability to analyze data and conduct extensive research
- Excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to analyze data and conduct extensive research
- Ability to be present at work each day and work the hours of the assigned shift
- Excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills
- Fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively, to include speaking and writing, in English
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility
Recommended:
- 3 years comparable experience in supply chain and/or logistics management (USMC) or a degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or other quantitative discipline.
- Working knowledge of GCSS-MC (Oracle Discovery Reports Writer & Oracle Discovery Reports User)
- Fundamental understandings of USMC supply chain and logistics concepts.
- Prior military experience desired
