POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the day-to-day security of the facility, warehouse spaces and yard. Check all traffic into and out of the Essity loading facility. Direct drivers to correct docks for both inbound and outbound freight. Ensure the correct trailers are leaving the yard by checking paperwork and enter information into Essity operating system. (MES)

Schedules: Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Record all inbound, outbound trucks, LTLs, trailers and containers in “open dock” scheduling software
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Hand drivers paperwork as they leave the facility
• Take accurate notes
• Perform daily yard inventory and tag trailers
• Monitor and control access at guard building entrances and vehicle gates

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Jones Logistics will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Detail oriented

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
