As a Parcel Analyst, youwill play a crucial role in optimizing parcel shipping operations for the organization. The primary responsibility will be to analyze parcel shipping data, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with various teams including logistics, supply chain, and finance to implement your recommendations and drive continuous improvement in our parcel shipping processes.

Position Qualifications

Experience/Skills

• Proven experience in parcel shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
• Knowledge of parcel shipping carriers, rates, and regulations.
• Experience in negotiating carrier contracts and managing vendor relationships is preferred.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and parcel shipping software is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• The candidate should be familiar with and committed to following all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety shoes, and any other equipment required for specific tasks.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
