This role will be in support of the Logistics Task for PMS 400D in Bath, ME.

Description:

• Perform DDG 51 Class Schedule A and Schedule E Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) at the DDG Shipbuilder’s facilities
• Review and document ILS impacts to proposed ICPs and ECPs submitted by the Shipbuilder.
• Perform the functions of the Configuration Acquisition Management Activity (CAMA) for DDG 51 Class new construction ships.
• Ensure configuration in CDMD-OA accurately reflects the installed equipment.
• Identify, collect, categorize, and submit new construction metric data relating to the approved configuration baseline to PMS 400D1 for trend analysis and issue resolution.
• During Onboard Installation and PSA, document, at a minimum, the following information:
• Manufacturer’s Part Number
• CAGE Code
• Equipment Serial Number and implemented changes to the configuration
• Establish and maintain a database for the PCA configuration information and audit results
• Provide draft feedback, finds and recommendations to the PMS 400D1 team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Associates Degree or 5 years of Naval Logistics experience
• 5 years professional experience performing logistics or product support work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• 5 years professional experience performing logistics or product support work
• Experience managing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and INCO material
• Prior military experience in logistics and/or Supply working with Allowancing and/or material procurement
