Locksmith is responsible for the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of locks and keys. Duplicates keys and replaces and re-keys locks as necessary. Being a Locksmith may install or maintain emergency exit systems and electronic access equipment and devices. May design new key or lock systems for an organization. Additionally, Locksmith maintains a thorough records of changes and additions to an organization's key systems. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Locksmith works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - Keep accurate records of work performed

WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON WHO HAS EXCELLENT MECHANICAL SKILLS INHERENTLY. Training pay during training times is 25% less than stated pay rate. This only lasts until the person can work on their own. Usually not more than two-four weeks.
Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of different types of locks and security systems
- Familiarity with key cutting and duplication techniques
- Ability to use locksmith tools and equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
