Locksmith is responsible for the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of locks and keys. Duplicates keys and replaces and re-keys locks as necessary. Being a Locksmith may install or maintain emergency exit systems and electronic access equipment and devices. May design new key or lock systems for an organization. Additionally, Locksmith maintains a thorough records of changes and additions to an organization's key systems. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Locksmith works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Hey there! We're Laredo's premier mobile locksmith service, providing locksmith services such as car, building, and miscellaneous lockouts, lock work, and making car keys on a 24/7 emergency basis. We're currently in need of an additional technician, and are willing to train motivated candidates who meet the basic requirements!
For this job you need to have a good vehicle at your disposal, some basic tools, and wide on-call availability. Although this job takes a lot of individual discipline and responsibility, it also has an awesome time-to-money ratio, as well as the benefit of operating independently, with limited oversight, and a lot of freedom.
The most basic calls start off at $20-40 in your pocket and go up from there!
After a succesful over-the-phone interview, we'll pay for your travel expense and hotel, as well as $80 per day, to come up to Austin for a week of initial training!
