Locksmith is responsible for the maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of locks and keys. Duplicates keys and replaces and re-keys locks as necessary. Being a Locksmith may install or maintain emergency exit systems and electronic access equipment and devices. May design new key or lock systems for an organization. Additionally, Locksmith maintains a thorough records of changes and additions to an organization's key systems. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Locksmith works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Job Responsibilities
Your job duties will include installing, repairing, adjusting, and replacing locks and other door closures around various buildings and facilities; making duplicate keys when required; and managing the supply of keys for all staff, documenting when you issue keys and noting when they are returned- Knowledge of I. C. Core. Is a plus
- Exhibit a willingness to apply oneself and to learn.
- Master keying
- Complete work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Fulfill daily commitments.
- Treat all customers, other trades personnel, vendors, fellow workers, etc. with dignity and respect.
- Complete paperwork and turn in when required.
- Installing commercial doors is a must.
- Light Travel is a must.
- Other duties as assigned

- 4 years’ experience in locksmith installations.
- Applicant must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work with hands, multi-task.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator's license & clear driving record to meet Company policy.
