JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
Under limited supervision, responsible for the review of commercial and consumer loan documentation in a post-closing environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position performs the following duties, including but not limited to:
Responsible for the review of loan and supporting documentation to ensure the banks interests are protected, coding is accurate on the Jack Henry Core system, and the customers loan is set up accurately.
Ensure loans are closed under the terms of the loan approval form and that adequate levels of approval have been obtained.
Setup and maintenance any necessary documentation exceptions for follow up and reporting in Sageworks Software platform.
Provide quality customer service utilizing the banks primary database (Jack Henry Core), imaging (Synergy) and tracking/tickler system (Sageworks).
Identify exception items through tickler system and provide feedback to the branches as needed. Verify receipt of documents necessary to clear exception items and remove ticklers from tracking reports.
Provide guidance to loan officers and loan assistants in areas of loan documentation coding and loan document tracking as the need arises.
Provide customer service support primarily to internal customers including loan officers, loan assistants, loan administration personnel, and various levels of management depending on the situation.
Review all new commercial and consumer loans coding to ensure accuracy in the banks financial reporting.
Document the receipt of pending loan documents that are being tracked on Sageworks.
Add collateral exception ticklers to Sageworks tracking system.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Three years experience with a bank, title company or law office preferred; experience in a credit/lending environment with consumer and/or commercial loan documentation preferred
Experience with Word, Excel and Microsoft Office software required
Prior experience with Jack Henry Core, Synergy and Sageworks preferred
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills (including internal customers); team-oriented
Above average written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized and self-directed to complete tasks and to meet deadlines; able to work under pressure and adaptable to change
Familiarity with a variety of banking concepts, practices and procedures, including understanding lien attachment and perfection rules for various collateral types and consumer/commercial lending regulations preferred
