Ensures procedures are followed and all loan policy guidelines are appropriately applied. Being a Loan Examiner Manager contributes to or leads more complex exams. Mentors, trains, and assesses the examination team. Additionally, Loan Examiner Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Loan Examiner Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Loan Examiner Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. UW Credit Union is growing and hiring a Loan Operations Manager to join our newly created Multifamily Residential Business Lending team.

As the Loan Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in establishing and shaping the Multifamily Residential Business Leaning team, with evolving responsibilities over time. Initially the role will encompass individual contributor and managerial responsibilities, ranging from overseeing loan processing and ongoing loan portfolio operations to crafting essential procedures and developing comprehensive onboarding and training materials. You will also be involved in the strategic implementation of our loan system and creation of insightful reports to monitor performance and guide decision-making. The role will progress into department development, recruiting and training, and coaching and mentorship to grow and strengthen the team.
