MISSIONS

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for assisting with the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all entities on Jumby Bay Island, as well as any other related duties.

The Payroll Clerk must maintain thorough knowledge of all taxation and wage laws and collective agreement guidelines, as well as complete service charge and gratuity reconciliation, detailed and accurate reporting for payroll, taxation, accruals and other month end close activities.

PROFILE

• One to three years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Related degrees or professional Accounting certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of MyLegacy Payroll Systems, Kronos Timekeeping a strong asset.
• Ability to communicate at all levels - excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently with little supervision.
• Strong leadership capabilities with proactive attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
