About the Position:

Purpose:

As a Support Specialist for Gooseneck Implement, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and troubleshooting services to internal stakeholders so our employees can support our customers. Your primary focus will be to resolve technical issues related to John Deere machinery and equipment efficiently, ensuring smooth operations and optimal equipment performance. This position offers the opportunity for remote work, depending on the candidate's location, and is part of our Gooseneck Technical Assistance Center.

Responsibilities:

• Reply to incoming tickets and provide support/solutions to Gooseneck employees.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to offer support on the technology we offer.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in John Deere equipment, product features and software updates to support internal stakeholders effectively.
• Walk technicians through step-by-step solutions.
• Provide support for equipment operation and adjustment for the Sales and Parts employees.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 2-year degree in Diesel/John Deere/Automotive or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years’ experience as a John Deere Equipment Technician (Preferred).
• High knowledge level working with John Deere Service Advisor.
• High knowledge level of John Deere equipment including Engines, Powertrains, Electrical/Electronics, Hydraulics, and Precision Technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders.
• Utilize a computer and software proficiently to perform required tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues in resolving technical challenges.
• Proficiency in using various computer software applications with a willingness to learn new software and systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to demonstrate concern and care for customer privacy and data security.
