We are currently seeking a highly qualified Manager Litigation Case Support to join our Law Department. Open to remote work arrangements.
This position is within the Litigation Case Support and Records & Information Management team of the Law Department’s Litigation Practice Group (LPG), which provides both litigation and records and information management support for the Altria family of companies.
Responsibilities:
• Manage case support for tobacco & health and commercial litigation, as well as regulatory matters and HR investigations, employing industry standard best project management practices.
• Communicate requirements to other LPG team members and outside counsel.
• Manage information preservation process and litigation and regulatory related preservation activities, including implementing and refining procedures for issuance of preservation notices to account for existing and new databases and applications.
• Lead and motivate project teams to accomplish deadline driven tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide direction to analysts and senior analysts for a variety of tasks.
Background/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree and proven experience supporting complex litigation and coordinating litigation preservation and e-discovery efforts for complex litigation or equivalent. Juris Doctor preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in managing processes associated with all aspects of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model.
• Knowledge of civil procedure and litigation-related documents.
• Knowledge of litigation document review databases, document collection tools and litigation technology generally from an administrative or management perspective.
• Analytical skills, including the ability to organize and synthesize data from a variety of sources for use by in-house and outside counsel.
• Experience managing, motivating, and coordinating the work of project teams and the ability to adjust staffing and resource allocation to meet shifting demands.
• Expertise in using Microsoft Office software.
