Litigation Support Manager oversees the team that uses technology to support an organization's litigation efforts. Develops and implements policies and procedures for designing, implementing, and maintaining litigation databases. Being a Litigation Support Manager is responsible for the technical aspects of document organization and control, including electronic discovery (eDiscovery). Provides training to the end users on database use and document management. Additionally, Litigation Support Manager confirms the accuracy of the documents and exhibits for trial. May handle more complex cases. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Litigation Support Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Litigation Support Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Summary

    The Retail Supervisor is responsible for creating and ensuring an exceptional customer experience for our customers. This role ensures all sales are compliant with state regulations, and that customer needs are met and consistent with individual treatment plans. In addition to sales duties, the Retail Supervisor assists in cash and inventory management, opening and closing the store, and directing, leading and coaching the retail team.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Inspires and motivates teams by leading by example, creating a positive atmosphere, encouraging a customer first philosophy, and promoting a global mindset

    • Spends majority of time on the retail floor overseeing staff and ensuring exceptional customer experience

    • Supports training and development of team members and consistently coaches team members on service and product knowledge

    • Promotes selling and service skills to achieve sales goals and KPIs

    • Partners with the managers on goal setting and the establishment of daily/weekly/monthly performance objectives

    • Strategically plans daily agenda to ensure adequate staffing and continually monitors breaks and floor coverage

    • Assigns and oversees daily tasks to ensure the efficiency of sales, inventory, and security functions

    • Communicates daily specials and operational updates to staff

    • Swiftly intervenes and de-escalates customer concerns and complaints

    • Holds staff accountable for handbook policies such as attendance, uniform, cash handling, and other standards

    • Ensures the store is maintained to high standards of aesthetics, merchandising, organization, and cleanliness

    • Upholds security and safety measures, and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations

    • Partners with Management on employee behavioral issues and development, may participate in delivering constructive feedback, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews

     

    • Identifies and communicates business opportunities pertaining to product assortment, operational processes, increasing sales, and team development, and participates in developing and executing action plans

    • Responsible for opening and closing the store as assigned

    • May assume specific areas of responsibility assigned and outlined by Management, such as but not limited to scheduling, time/attendance tracking, education, accounting, supply ordering, etc.

    • Performs other related duties as required.

    Sales Responsibilities

    • Ensures all customers are logged in the state mandated patient tracking system

    • Performs all sales transactions in compliance with state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products

    • Complies with all state regulations as well as Justice Cannabis Co’s operating policies, procedures and practices

    • Completes required documentation for product sales

    • Oversees front and backend dispensary operations in collaboration with Management

    • Assists Customers with product selection based on their defined treatment plan

    • Ensures all sales and transactions are entered in POS and inventory management systems

    • Complies with all safety and security protocols for dispensary staff

    • Achieves daily/weekly sales objectives by seeking opportunities to introduce new and alternative products to dispensary customers; and, educating customers on products

    • Performs assigned administrative tasks (customers/sales tracking)

    • Answers phones, returns voicemails, and takes telephone orders.

    • Fills online orders as well as ensures product menu is up to date.

    • Establishes on-going relationships with customers and completes customer profiles to assist in future sales and service

    • Maintains knowledge on new and existing products via vendor training resources and cross-training with the management and medical Team Members

    • Maintains knowledge of the cannabis industry and the effects of and uses for cannabis as a therapeutic tool for personal well-being

    • Performs other related duties as required.

    Inventory Responsibilities

    • Picks and builds orders, and products for sales orders

    • Supports with morning and evening inventory counts

    • Assists in the receipt and in-processing of incoming product deliveries

    • Supports in the physical recording of daily inventory

    • Assists in inventory cycle counts

    • Performs other related duties as required.

     

    Cash Handling

    • Follows dispensary cash handling policies for drops and deposits

    • Responsible for counting and closing daily tills and ensuring balanced counts

    • Coordinates with Management to conduct cash counts

    • Ensures cash is bundled for pickup in accordance with bank guidelines

    • Performs other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    • Two or more years of supervisory experience preferably in a retail or hospitality environment with cash handling responsibility

    • Proven record of inspirational team leadership is preferred

    • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license or state ID

    • Must pass all required background checks, certifications, and DOH affiliation requirements

    • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

    • Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

    Computers and Technology

    • Must be computer literate with the ability to learn operational systems (MJ Freeway, Leaflogix, Veriscan, Microsoft office, and Metrc, etc.)

    • Experience working with Outlook email and Microsoft Office suite
