Monitors timelines and work progress to ensure work is completed on time. Being a Litigation Manager conducts new hire and ongoing training sessions. Requires a thorough knowledge of the organization's products/services. Additionally, Litigation Manager requires a bachelor's/master's degree. Typically reports to the top legal executive/general counsel. The Litigation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. You will be joining a highly skilled team of attorneys who have substantial courtroom experience at the state and federal levels. They practice in a variety of areas including commercial litigation, class actions/mass torts, product liability, appellate, chemical exposure/toxic torts, insurance litigation, transportation, medical/healthcare litigation, labor/employment litigation, financial services, and banking.

You possess 2 to 4 years of meaningful experience in commercial litigation, product liability, and/or other complex litigation preferred. You are well-versed in preparing for, taking and defending depositions, and you have prior experience in drafting dispositive, expert, and/or discovery motions. You are first-rate communicator whose written and oral advocacy skills are outstanding. Experience with appellate, class actions, privacy and data breach litigation with excellent academic credentials are also required.
West Virginia Bar admission strongly preferred.
