Job description:

This position of Docket Clerk at American Litigation Law Group ("Amerilit") is responsible for docketing, maintaining, and processing case information upon receiving a client’s summons and complaint, managing the progression of answer dates, in accordance with approved internal controls, and procedures. Applicant should be comfortable in learning and working under the particular state statutes and rules of Civil Procedure, for all states. Docket Clerks at this level are fully proficient at managing the progression of cases, including but not limited to following up on answer and/or hearing dates. They are responsible for noticing, managing the progression of cases, maintaining official case records, monitoring the completion of required procedural steps, reviewing filed documents to determine conformity, and taking appropriate action, ensuring that all orders are automated entries are appropriately and accurately docketed, and making summary entries on the docket of all documents and proceedings
