    This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing terminal office clerical assistance, and completing and maintaining records of transactions.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting new hire processes including pre-employment, initial new hire training, and proper PPE assignment in accordance with DOT, OSHA, DEQ, and EPA
    • Perform all JJ Keller Encompass back office duties and report any violations to the safety supervisor and/or safety coordinator
    • Ensure employee qualification files are compliant per DOT regulations and in order.
    • Writing, typing, or entering information into a computer to prepare correspondence, receipts or other documents.
    • Answering incoming telephone calls, determining the purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel or department.
    • Taking and delivering messages or transferring calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
    • Welcoming on-site visitors, determining the nature of business, and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel.
    • Posting Department of Transportation (DOT) data for driver logs.
    • Processing monthly fuel inventory, tickets and reports.
    • Completing invoicing for miscellaneous jobs and rig moves.
    • Entering driver manifests into the system.
    • Preparing monthly reports for deadlines.
    • Working closely with Black Hills Trucking accounting.
    • Processing and verifying credit card statements.
    • Preparing driver paperwork packages.
    • Entering and checking driver and mechanic hourly payroll.
    • Processing driver and pusher expenses.
    • Any other duties or tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma or equivalent education with one to three (1-3) years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
    • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and driver log software.
    • English language fluency, verbal and written.
    • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
