Linen Room Attendant ensures the delivery of clean uniforms, towels, and linens to clients. Duties include sorting, assembling, and wrapping linen packs and restocking as needed. Being a Linen Room Attendant tracks linen usage and provides clean linens as requested. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Linen Room Attendant typically reports to a supervisor. The Linen Room Attendant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
- Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts
- Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling
Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics
