Lineman constructs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground transmission lines. Performs site preparation tasks, including digging holes or trenches, installing anchors, climbing poles, and using equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, and dump trucks. Being a Lineman installs wire and cable. Follows all safety regulations and procedures. Additionally, Lineman work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a valid Driver's License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Lineman works under moderate supervision. Lineman position within the New England market. New and BAU construction for multiple customers that requires both aerial and underground skillset. This position works closely with junior lineman and the groundman assigned to the truck.
3 years past experience as Lineman working with both Fiber and Coax Infastructure. Aerial lift certified and DOT medical card required. Work area is around New England with weekly on-call required.
