Light Assembler assembles fabricated parts of small or light subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Light Assembler identifies and sorts units that fail quality standards. May disassemble units to repair or refit parts as necessary. Additionally, Light Assembler operates hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Light Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position Summary: As part of the assembly team, you will put the finishing products on our products. You will work hands-on both independently and with other team to produce subassemblies, final assembly and packaging. The qualified candidate will be able to read and follow prints and assembly instructions, gather the correct parts and materials, and utilizing tools to ensure quality products for our customers.

Schedule: M-Th - 6am - 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays. (NO WEEKENDS)

Read and follow work instructions.
Prepare jobs to be completed by studying prints, assembly instructions and parts lists.
Collect all parts, materials and equipment needed for the assembly
Count and maintain appropriate level of parts inventory.
Safely operate correct hand tools to assemble parts and accessories.
Examine connections for correct fit, securing parts and subassemblies.
Troubleshoot assembly issues.
Perform precision measurements and document quality inspections to confirm required specifications are met.
Count finished parts.
Package and box products and accessories for shipment.
Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
Comply with safety procedures and rules.
Perform general housekeeping duties as assigned.
Willing to assist in other areas of production as needed.

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Metal fabrication environment with shop floor experience is a plus
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers is helpful
