High-Level Job Description:
The Program Manager will provide operational oversight of vocational programs including employment, day and/or community integration services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Vocational Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of all aspects of the Day Program, including staff program support, training, and administrative duties. Duties include monitoring the overall daily operations of the vocational program, providing supervision and training to Direct Support Professionals, overseeing documentation, assisting with scheduling, participating in meetings, IP’s and biannual, writing reports, and ensuring compliance with company and Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDS) policies and procedures. Strong software skills, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint, are required. The Program Manager should have similar experience working in a vocational program and previous experience managing and training staff, scheduling, facilitating meetings and writing reports. The Program Manager should have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and have the ability to coach and teach others.
