Life Underwriting Manager manages the daily operations of life underwriting department for a variety of products to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives of the business. Underwrites and oversees the issuance of renewal on key accounts. Being a Life Underwriting Manager proposes enhancements for life underwriting policies and procedures. As a Credentialing Support Associate, you will provide administrative support to the credentialing and re-credentialing of provider applications.
You will aid the department in ensuring that we are compliant with defined credentialing standards. You will ensure that our data is accurate and complete.
You will
Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming communications to the Credentialing Department from outside individuals.
Receive and process incoming applications, supporting credentials, and various communications from providers.
Perform telephonic and electronic outreach to providers for missing elements.
Conduct the review and research of provider's background for monthly monitoring.
Maintain databases for consistency and accuracy, updating as needed.
Process outgoing mail for department
Participate in special projects, as needed.
Continuously strive to provide superior products and customer service.
Build collaborative relationships that are mutually respectful.
Demonstrate self-awareness and embrace feedback.
You have
1-3 years credentialing experience, preferably in a managed care setting
Knowledge of dental industry preferred.
Strong computer, data entry, and clerical skills required.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
Critical thinking, detail oriented, and strong organizational skills required.
Previous experience working with CAQH application highly desired.

As our Credentialing Support Associate II, you will report to our Team Leader, Dental Credentialing.
Salary Range
$30,350.00 - $45,530.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
