Licensing Manager oversees the licensing of employees responsible for the sale and marketing of insurance, loan, or investment products. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations; maintains all necessary records. Being a Licensing Manager manages license acquisition and renewal processes. Establishes databases or recordkeeping policies and strategies to track the status of agents, applications, and forms. Additionally, Licensing Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Licensing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Licensing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities
- Analyze the customer’s requirement and ensure that the outcomes are delivered on time, follows high quality standards, and meets customer’s expectations.
- Researches, analyzes and responds to client inquiries that are routine in nature.
- Takes responsibility for the quality of service delivered to clients to ensure clients obtain maximum value from services.
- Ensures excellent customer service from team members on State Licensing team.
- Ensures the team's adherence to state filing deadlines.
- Handles billing and related inquiries.
- Manages members of State Licensing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience managing people/teams required.
- Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $64,300.00 - $96,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
