Licensing Manager oversees the licensing of employees responsible for the sale and marketing of insurance, loan, or investment products. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations; maintains all necessary records. Being a Licensing Manager manages license acquisition and renewal processes. Establishes databases or recordkeeping policies and strategies to track the status of agents, applications, and forms. Additionally, Licensing Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Licensing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Licensing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Supervisor, Licensing and Permitting, NH (Hybrid)

  • As a supervisor you will lead a team of environmental professionals responsible for environmental permitting and approvals for electric and gas transmission and distribution projects.

    Develop permitting strategies and schedules. Plan, execute, and obtain necessary approvals for projects in accordance with strict deadlines and within budget, including obtaining resources and coordinating efforts of team members to deliver approvals needed according to plan.

    Coordinate timely construction environmental monitoring to ensure consistent documentation and compliance with environmental requirements of permits/licenses.

    This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

    Essential Functions

    • Conceptualize and execute plans, lead cross-functional teams, interact with regulatory agencies, manage budgets.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations.
    • Forge relationships with regulators and key stakeholders, while balancing the needs of the company.
    • Build strong collaborative working relationship with utility operations leadership.
    • Manage contracts, including specifications and bid documents, RFP coordination, and managing environmental consultants and vendors.

    Qualifications

    Technical Knowledge/Skill:

    • Strong working knowledge of the permitting processes applicable to New Hampshire with a range of regulatory agencies including: USACE, USEPA, USFS, USF&WS, NHDES, NHDOT, NHF&G, NHNHB, NHDHR, and municipal agencies.
    • Knowledge of transmission line engineering, substation engineering, transmission line construction, substation construction or transmission planning is strongly preferred.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field

    Experience:

    • Eight (8) plus years of experience with a minimum of five (5) years utility experience (in either industry or consulting)
    • Three (3) years supervising environmental professionals (preferred).

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $128,000 plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of benefits.
