Northern Maine General is looking for a Clerk to work at its nursing home, Mercy Home, in Eagle Lake. The Clerk is responsible for answering the phone, transferring calls in a professional manner, tracking visitors and staff in the facility, safeguarding all confidential records, performing administrative functions such as word processing, photocopying, faxing, data input, filing, etc. Candidate must be flexible, organized, able to follow directions, and able to work in a distracting environment. Individual must be competent in oral and written communications. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Preference will be given to individuals with intermediate training in the general area of business including all sub areas of secretarial skills.
