    The Jel Sert Licensing Team is looking for a creative and pop-culture connected LICENSING INTERN to join our team this summer. The ideal candidate will be curious to learn more about licensing and promotional partnership planning. Reporting to our VP Licensing & Partnerships, this position will assist with promotional planning, sampling programs, licensing product development, and content development for the website and social platforms.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Support promotional activation and licensing development efforts
    • Maintain and organize content/creative assets for licensed products on website, asset management, and other digital channels
    • Analyze social trends to identify opportunities for our licensed brands
    • Stay up to date on the latest pop culture, social media and digital marketing trends and apply them to our portfolio of licensed brands
    • In partnership w/ social media team, assist in researching influencer partners for licensed brands. Moderate influencer and user-created content and identify opportunities to repurpose content across our owned channels for licensed brands
    • Send product sample requests for licensors
    • Manage requests from sales including new item info, mockups and tasting sample request forms
    • Commercialization Support: As needed, fill in requests and briefs, ensure dates/tasks deadlines/product info is inputted accurately into Workfront, maintain at least 1-2x a week for weekly Marketing status calls.
    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Candidate needs to be working towards or currently pursuing a degree or a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant experience.
    • Strong competency and experience with using social media, personally and professionally.
    • Must have exceptional knowledge of the English language, with a strong grasp of grammar, spelling and proficient in copywriting, proofreading, and critiquing.
    • General knowledge of image and video formats considered a plus.

    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects. Able to work on multiple projects at the same time, each with a different deadline.
