Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home requires a high school diploma. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Provide resident care by acceptable standards of nursing practice and the written plan of care as well as physicians' plan of treatment.

Follow a plan of care designed by our Nurse Manager

Perform Medication Administration and Treatments per POC

Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly

Accurate documentation by the orders provided

A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state is required

Ideal candidates will possess clinical experience in a sub-acute and/or long-term care setting.
