Licensed Practical Nurse - Mental Health administers nursing care to patients with varying levels of mental health disorders and developmental disabilities under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Monitors treatment and administers medication to patients as needed. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Mental Health reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Mental Health typically requires a high school diploma. Requires a state license to practice. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Licensed Practical Nurse - Mental Health's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Compensation:
$31.50/hour to $35.50/hour (depending on experience). Shift Differentials for Evenings & Overnights.Schedule
- Full-Time Days: 6:00am to 2:30pm and 6:00am to 6:30pm, every other weekend rotation (72 hours per pay period)
- Full-Time Evenings: 2:00pm to 10:30pm, every other weekend rotation (72 hours per pay period)
- Casual - Minimum Requirement- Two shifts per month, one of which being a weekend shift, and one holiday per calendar year.

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to individuals receiving services and to monitor the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota.
- Must possess current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
