Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care jobs in Iowa
Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care administers nursing care in a home care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Shifts Available: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday

WHAT WE DO:
Provide one-on-one nursing care in the home with critical, complex clients with a focus on trach and/or vent patients of all ages.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Current LPN license, CPR (no online classes accepted), TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
