Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Full-time 37.5 hours per week union position, requiring one night per week and alternating Fridays/Saturdays

Responsible for in-library and outreach programs and providing reference and reader's advisory services. Participates in materials selection and collection maintenance.

Requires valid CT driver's license and ability to conduct community outreach programs.
The work requires regular bending, stretching, stooping, pushing and pulling; lifting print and other materials, office equipment and supplies of up to 25 pounds and the ability to move a reasonable quantity of materials from place to place within or outside the Library. May require standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods of time.
