    Position Overview:

    This position will focus on payroll, handling TARFs, meal attestations, payroll submission, orientation additions to timeclock, registry management with the time clock, verification of registry invoices, new hire orientation PAFs, NHPPD reports, and employee file management including filing and file audits, in addition to AP support. This position reports to the Business Office Manager, working directly with the Corporate Office Support Center, to ensure employee needs are being met in all areas pertaining to Employee Services, and all vendor accounts are managed properly.

    Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):

    • Verifies and submit paperwork relating to employee payroll, including TARFs, meal attestations in addition to registry management for time clock; may complete some PAFs depending on transaction required.
    • Issues and tracks employee time clock badges.
    • Ensures timely and accurate reporting of payroll information to Support Center.
    • Anticipates and collects all facility-related invoices in a timely manner so that expenses are accounted for in the correct month, including verification for registry invoices.
    • Enters codes and batches all facility-related invoices to the Support Center.
    • Facilitates paperwork relating to employee benefits during employee’s employment; refers questions to Support Center as needed.
    • Assists in open enrollment for benefits programs to include 401(k), FSA, and health insurance.
    • Assists in submission of all 401(k) and FSA additions and changes to Support Center.
    • Works directly with Support Center A/P department to ensure all facility A/P deadline and requirements are met.
    • Completes month end checklist and ensures all recurring AP invoices have been received and processed before close.
    • Coordinates necessary department head and Administrator approvals.

    Qualifications:

    • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster (if eligible) will be required for all facility employees (requests for accommodation due to medical exemption or religious belief will be reviewed).
    • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
    • Payroll, AP and/or benefits experience strongly preferred.
    • Ability to work well with all levels within the organization and communicate effectively.
    • Previous Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
    • Knowledge of office practices, technology applications and record-keeping and reporting systems; business correspondence; grammar, spelling and punctuation.
    • Use of MS Office application programs; use of standard office equipment including telephones, calculators, copiers and facsimile equipment.
