Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Under the direction of the Youth Services Manager, the Youth Services Coordinator plans and coordinates system-wide children's programs, youth services initiatives, trainings, programs, and events for all ACPL locations.

This is a full-time, exempt position. The schedule is typically daytime hours but may include weekends/evenings. The right candidate would need proven excellent organizational and public speaking skills. While the job focus is coordinating programs throughout the system, program presentation will occasionally be required.
