Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Youth and Family Services School Choice Coordinator is one of two library staff who act as the points of
contact for Hartford Public Library for all school choice services, including RSCO (Regional School Choice Office0,
Sheff-related, and Hartford Public School’s Choice programs. This is a part time (25 hours) position that will
require the incumbent to be available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends. This
position reports to the Youth Services Manager.
