Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Student Services Coordinator provides support for the Center in the areas of Admissions and Student Services. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Center Director, the Coordinator assists with all aspects of admissions processes and procedures including meeting with prospective students and conducting visits with high schools. The position is responsible for developing a network of recruiting opportunities in traditional and nontraditional recruiting environments, as well as retention efforts for Center students. These efforts should generate inquiries, applications, and enrollment. Local travel throughout the region that the College serves is required for this position.
