Job Title: Library Circulation, Archives, and Outreach Coordinator
Department: Library
Reports to: Director of Library Services
Position Type: Full time Professional Staff (12 month)

Job Title: Library Circulation, Archives, and Outreach Coordinator
Job Overview: The Library Circulation, Archives, and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for circulation duties, including training and supervising student workers, curating the archives collection, and developing library activities and programs for the LSUA community.
Key Responsibilities
Circulation
Coordinate circulation responsibilities and enforce policies
Track overdue materials and contact users about overdue materials
Maintain circulation statistics
Train and supervise student workers
Compile and disseminate statistical information on patron library use, circulation, and reserves
Archives
Maintain the LSUA Library art collections
Curate the archives collections
Work with scholars who need access to the archives and special collections
Coordinate with Louisiana Digital Library project
Outreach
Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture within the library team
Participate as appropriate in campus presentations through CORE and Orientation courses
Design, implement, and oversee innovative and engaging library problems and services that promote the library
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvement
Promote the library programs and literacy through exhibits and social media platforms
Use social media to engage library community
Collaborate with library staff to create a welcoming environment in the library
Qualifications
- Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Experience in art and/or archival/preservation work
- Proven experience in program development and event planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse community groups
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
- Knowledge of library services and resources
- Creative and innovative thinker with a passion for promoting library services
