May perform clerical tasks related to book purchasing and payments. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Librarian Assistant works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Summary :
The O.R. Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care by performing various activities and related support services under the supervision of the Director, Operating Room Manager or charge nurse.
The O.R. Assistant is responsible for the safe transport / transfer of patients to, from, and within the surgical suite.
In addition, the O.R. assistant is responsible for between case and terminal cleaning, and general cleaning duties. The O.
R. Assistant is also responsible for the stocking of supplies.
