The experienced letterpress operator will have related experience in the following areas:
Press Operation:
· Brausse 1050 Press
· Heidelberg Windmill Press
· Kluge Press
· Perform scheduled maintenance on all presses to ensure optimum output
Print Processes:
· Hot Foil Stamp
· Die Cut
· Score
· Perf
· Emboss/Deboss
· Letterpress Print
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Must be mechanically inclined; able to set up, trouble-shoot, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and maintain all presses
· Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, job jackets, and press imposition
· Attention to Detail, complying with the highest quality standard specific to our operation
· Must have basic electronic and computer keyboard knowledge
· Ability to work well under pressure; adhering to customer expectations and deadlines
· Display and maintain a professional, positive and respectful attitude to all associates at all times
· Direct fellow team members and provide quality control to various projects
· Easily adaptable to changing project and production requirements
· Continually seek ways to improve workflow and personal skill sets
· Must be able to stand and walk 95% of the time; physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
