Letterpress Setter and Set-Up Operator jobs in Oregon

A machine shop that specializes in quick turnaround is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe machinist. The successful candidate will be able to read a blueprint, quickly type in a simple 2D program at the control panel (all Fanuc), load tools, and run parts. We utilize Mastercam for more complex parts. This position is for an experienced individual who can work independently on our assorted horizontal CNC lathes.

Job Requirements

• Five years minimum set-up / programming experience with CNC Lathes

• Excellent blueprint reading skills require and knowledgeable about GD&T

• Ability to respond to quick turn demands

• Self-Starter / Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented

• Reliable and dependable

• Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment

• Team player

• VTL experience a plus

• Position requires operating machines on a daily basis

• Persons not proficient in complete CNC lathe operations will not be considered for this position.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
