Compex Legal Services is looking to hire a full-time Lead Cash Specialist. This key position reports to Financial Operations Supervisor and will help with activities associated with receipt and application of payments and more!

This position will help us with:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the Cash Application team, ensuring their compliance with policies, procedures, and completion of the daily workload.
• Receiving, sorting, scanning and remotely depositing all incoming payments; providing copies of checks or payments when requested.
• Preparing daily collection and cash activity reports. 
• Sorting and processing credit card authorizations and payments received from customers; applying payments received from customers to the related invoices correctly. 
• Reconciling credit card payments received against credit cards proceeds as credited by the bank. 
• Reconciling daily deposits against daily bank statement and preparing daily cash clearing account reconciliation. 

What you should have:

• 3-5 years of cash application.
• 3-5 years of excel in an accounting department environment or similar including use of function and pivot tables.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• A can-do attitude.
• Proven track record of coming up with out-of-the-box solutions.
