Legal Services Director oversees the activities of the organization's legal department. Provides legal advice, interpretation, and guidance to senior management and officers regarding contracts, state/federal regulatory requirements, intellectual property or trademark protection, and other business matters. Being a Legal Services Director reviews all information and prepares defense for any legal actions against the organization or advises on prosecuting lawsuits on behalf of the organization. Coordinates and reviews the work of internal or external legal staff. Additionally, Legal Services Director manages staff of attorneys. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to top management. The Legal Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Legal Services Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Required: Associate degree or Higher Education or 5 years of relevant work experience as a Corporate Services Specialist.

    We are seeking the direct hire of a full-time Corporate Services Specialist for our Corporate team located in Middletown, Delaware. The successful candidate will have experience with legal entity management, corporate compliance, and due diligence solutions. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with and manage the day-to-day relationships with our customers at Corporations and Law Firms to provide legal and compliance services.


    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Able to perform to equally high standards in durations of fast pace, high work volume of projects and tasks assigned.
    • Direct communication with team members, clients, and client advisors.
    • Comply with and understand company operations, policies, procedures, and quality control.
    • Keep confidentiality of all client information and client matters.
    • Build relationships with our clients to better understand their unique needs and concerns.
    • Research, analyze, review, and process legal documents.
    • Fulfill requests and answer questions for customers via phone or electronically.
    • Provide excellent customer service to potential and existing clients.
    • Manage customer portfolios and organize workflow to meet customers' time frame and demands.
    • Data entry of client information, electronic filing, and retrieval of documents
    • Navigate between multiple databases quickly and accurately.
    • Recommend process improvements where applicable.
    • Maintain and grow existing customer business by providing outstanding service and by recognizing and proactively offering appropriate services.
    • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
    • Candidates for this position must be eligible to work without sponsorship.

    Experience

    • At least 5 years of experience working in a business-to-business customer service or administrative capacity.
    • Full understanding of Corporate Legal Services.
