Remote-first
Since March 2020, our Zoomers have worked remotely and reported an overall better work-life balance with more time for family and personal wellness.
At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company. Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers. While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.
This position will be (remote/or SF Bay Area, LA Metro, and Austin Metro office location/s).
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Engagement Manager who has a strong track record of program execution. In this role, you will execute engagement initiatives in support of one of LegalZoom’s top company priorities of integrating experts and attorney expertise in our products and services. Initiatives may include execution of regular department-wide town halls, crafting of regular newsletters and department-wide communications, and planning and executing department conferences and events.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, can excel in a fast paced environment, and demonstrates creativity and a passion for executing engaging and meaningful initiatives. They should be able to distill key insights from quantitative and qualitative data and action opportunities for employee engagement.
You will
Execute key engagement initiatives as the primary driver, such as facilitating engagement sessions, building content for regular Town Halls, drafting newsletters, and planning and executing team events and conferences
Contribute to short-term and long-term engagement road maps to enhance team morale, satisfaction, and collaboration
Serve as primary project manager for key engagement initiatives and lead project meetings and report on progress to key stakeholders
Communicate 1:1 or at scale with internal and external customers to ensure program adoption and success
Collaborate and build relationships with cross functional teams across the organization to ensure seamless execution and process excellence
Identify, assess and mitigate risks, drive resolution of critical issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives moving forward
Manage reporting and metrics to monitor program success, distill key insights, and action opportunities for improvement
Adopt program manager tools and skills such as road maps, OKRs, portfolio planning tools, and project planning tools (e.g., ClickUp)
You have
Undergraduate degree or 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced industry
3 years’ experience in program management or operational role
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
Proficiency with Excel / Google Sheets and Powerpoint / Google Slides
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
A passion for engaging others and creating a positive work environment
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy
Hands on knowledge of ClickUp, Asana, or similar project management tools preferred
LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($87,800 - $113,750). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
