The Clinical Social Services Director assumes responsibility for the functioning and communication within the social services department. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker participates as an integral professional member of a multi-disciplinary team, implementing and assisting in the supervision of social services interventions to patients. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker oversees the implementation of interventions performed by other disciplines with the social services department. These other disciplines, include the Discharge Planner, Case Manager, and Activity Therapist, along with other social services employees. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker works in collaboration with other clinical departments through consultation with the medical staff, DPU ND, and nursing staff. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker works to facilitates resolution of concerns in the patient population identified and ensures that services, programming and patient’s social needs meet the highest quality of care. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker demonstrates understanding and interpretation of facility policies to ensure that policies are adhere to. Furthermore, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker demonstrates a strong knowledgeable of a wide range of disorders; cognitive, emotional, and developmental, social and behavioral. Additional duties include crisis intervention, special case conferences, family communication, and a lead role in the treatment team process. In addition, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in quality monitoring activities. Education: Master’s in Social Work from an accredited school of social work

Experience: One year's experience performing duties as a Social Worker in a Behavioral Health setting
