Roles and Responsibilities

2D and 3D Draftsman will be responsible for creating drawings in AutoCad and Inventor. Experience preferred with: compressor systems, both air and gas equipment, structural, ASME code vessels, piping systems: welded threaded, industrial air and machined parts.

Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Essential Functions

• Timely completion of sales and shop drawings and 3D models for submittal purposes.
• Monitors performance to established efficiency and quality standards and initiates corrective action as required.
• Attends production meetings, analyzes production operations and workflow and develops improvement recommendations.
• Prepares various reports and logs are required.
• Printing of various drawings for unit manuals.
• Sketching of fabricated and machined parts to develop drawings.
• Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written as this position is required to interact with CLS employees at all levels within the company as well as the general public.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and set and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to sit and stand for up to 4 hours at a time

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must have 2 years’ experience in mechanical drafting and be proficient wit current versions of AutoCad, Inventor and Microsoft Office Suite and or a certificate or degree in Drafting.
